Toell's drinking water, "Shinano-Yusui" for export
The Japanese Northern Alps range is often called "the roof of Japan,"
which has been formed by the crustal movements for over million of years,
is the source of "Shinano-Yusui" natural spring water.
Distinctive in smoothness and mildness in taste,
it is widely acknowledged by the taste of Japanese people.
Source of "Shinano-Yusui"
The Japanese Northern Alps, where a series of 3000m-high mountain ranges and abundant snowfall is naturally filtered over the years creating many famous springs, is one of the best water sources in Japan. Shinano-Yusui's raw water is from one of such springs, the “Yazawa water source,” at an elevation of 1220m, which is higher than any other sources of our competitors in Japan. Our factory, located at the foot of the mountains directly receives the water through a pipeline.
The quality of "Shinano-Yusui"
There are various sorts of "drinking water" sold in the market, such as "distilled water", made from tap water, artificially mineralized "mineral water", and "natural mineral water" from an underground water source. "Shinano-Yusui" is "natural spring water," with well-balanced natural mineral ingredients and is level 16 in water hardness. Throughout the world and in Southeast Asia, “natural spring water” is highly valued as the blessings of nature. Shinano-Yusui is one of the few brands that can be sold and certified by a public institution as “natural spring water."
Where Shinano-Yusui comes from
Nothing surrounds our Northern Alps factory, which is essential, for it means the environment is not contaminated with such as densely populated area or other plants.
Downstream of the factory is a sector famous for its numerous “wasabi (Japanese horseradish)” fields. Wasabi only grows well with abundant pure and clear water, and Shinano-Yusui's raw water source is located upstream of the wasabi fields. The Japanese serow and grouse, selected as exclusive national natural treasures inhabit in the region and can sometimes come up near Northern Alps factory.
Fully automatic bottling
Shinano-Yusui Northern Alps factory in Nagano has an annual production capacity of up to 15 million bottles, and it is one of the largest cutting-edge and fully automated plants in Japan. While in a production line, bottles are not touched by human hands from the bottling process all the way to the capping and sealing process. The products are manufactured and shipped under thorough quality control. Every process is in a clean room with the same sanitation level as leading electronic industries. The bottles produced at the same period are not permitted to ship out unless all the bottles have passed the strict inspection process.
Strict quality control to ensure product safety
Production is under strict quality control. The products undergo 48-hour cultivation tests, and only products have shown the results with the absence of bacteria, favorable results for PH, electric conductivities, smells, and taste are permitted to ship out.
