Gas Emergency

Kitchen Stove Does Not Turn On

If the stove does not turn on, please check the following points.

  • If other gas appliances are operating

If all gas appliances like the water boiler are not working, the gas supply may shut off. Please refer to the “No Gas Flow” section and check your gas meter.

  • Main gas valve

Please check if the valve is open.

  • Gas hose

If the gas hose folds, gas will not flow smoothly.

  • Ignition batteries

If the batteries are dead or nearly dead, the stove can not ignite. Please exchange batteries.
(Warning light may turn on if equipped)

  • Dirt and wettings around burners

Please check burner caps that may be out of alignment. Wipe the dirt and wetting on the temperature sensors, blow out safeties and ignition plugs with a dry cloth.

  • The fish grill does not ignite

Continuous use of the grill may cause overheat, which may be automatically stopped by safety. Please try again after the grill temperature is down.

If the stove does not ignite unless you try all of the above, please confirm the warranty and contact the manufacturer or the retailer of the stove.
